It has been a very long time since I last posted on my blog here. Quite a bit has happened in my life since then. Moreover, I have arrived at a point now where I decided that it would be worthwhile to take the time to start writing again, and, more importantly, to make a lasting habit out of it.
The last article I posted was in German and discussed the social media channels of sports commentator Frank Buschmann. It was quite successful, as it was featured on Buschmann’s Facebook page which generated an incredible amount of traffic. At that time, I was still living in Ireland, even though I moved back to Ulm shortly afterwards.
Over the following 12 months I worked at the graphics department of an online marketing company in Neu-Ulm. I left there at the end of March, searching for new challenges and fresh places to discover, which then brought me to Stuttgart (the state capital of Baden-Württemberg in Germany’s south west). I now work for a small web agency on web and app projects where I am creating user experience and usability concepts.
Working on the conceptual side alone was new to me. I am learning new things every day, and I think writing about what I come across in this job I love is too good an opportunity to let it slip.
